Tip: The Jardin Link is two-sided. Choose which side will face forward when attaching crystal charm.

Steps

  1. Use 2-part epoxy or E6000 as directed to glue flatback crystal into bezel charm. Allow to dry.
  2. Cut two 7” pieces of chain. Set aside.
  3. Cut one 10” piece of wire. Use round nose pliers to create a small loop at center of wire. String on charm and position it inside the loop. Secure with a wrapped loop, then bend wire ends straight up.
  4. Place bar link between wires at top of wrapped loop. Wrap front wire around link 2 or 3 times, pinching wire against link as you work, and ending at back. Repeat with back wire, wrapping from other direction and ending at back. Adjust wires so they are tucked close together at center of link and positioned as desired. Straighten and adjust charm as needed. Trim excess wire at back. Use chain nose pliers to press ends against link.
  5. *Cut one 6" piece of wire. Bend at right angle about 2" from one end. Use round nose pliers to begin a wrapped loop. Thread one hole of link onto wire and into loop. Complete wrapped loop, making sure loop is large enough for link to move freely. Wrap wire once or twice, then trim.
  6. Bend wire at right angle just above wrap completed in Step 5. Use round nose pliers to form a wrapped loop, wrapping wire generously before trimming.
  7. Repeat Steps 5-6 at other end of link.
  8. Open one jump ring and attach one strand of chain to one side of link. Close jump ring. Repeat on other side.
  9. Use one jump ring to attach clasp ring at one end of necklace. Repeat at other side to attach clasp bar.
  10. Use 2-part epoxy or E6000 secure wire at back of link if desired. Allow to dry.
  11. *Alternative: Use one jump ring to attach one piece of chain directly to hole at one side of link. Repeat on other side.
